We invite all active young pharmacists with an interest in taking up future leadership roles on the YPG Steering Committee or in being involved with local or national YPG leadership to attend this session.

AP1 Workshop: Antimicrobial stewardship in hospitals and the community
We invite all pharmacists and technicians involved in supplying or promoting the responsible use of antibiotics to attend this session. Those who are keen to establish or improve their antimicrobial stewardship service are highly encouraged to attend. Places are limited to ensure a high-quality, interactive event, and your interest to attend must therefore be indicated separately during the online registration process for the congress. All participants will be presented with a Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the workshop.

F1 Tackling the challenges of nanomedicines – Are we ready?
Four selected speakers (from academia, industry, clinical practice and hospital pharmacy) will each give 40-minutes lectures. This will be followed by a 30 minutes panellist podium discussion on how the emerging science on nanomedicine might impact the recently released “FIP Statement of Policy on the Pharmacist’s authority in pharmaceutical product selection: therapeutic interchange and substitution”. A 30 minutes refreshment break will be included in the activity.
